HARTLYN KIDS CELEBRATES BLACK HISTORY MONTH

What we need is not a history of selected races or nations, but the history of the world void of national bias, race hate and religious prejudice.  ~Carter Woodson (1926)

FEBRUARY IS BLACK HISTORY MONTH !!!
WE ARE EXCITED TO CELEBRATE ALL MONTH LONG !!!

We are super-excited about February as we have a host of features and deep discount sales on our inventory.

In honor of Black History month, our blog (www.HartlynKids.blogspot.com) will be highlighting the following areas of black culture with guest posts and features from some great individuals:
  • Education
  • Music
  • Art
We will be featuring individuals who attended Historically Black Colleges; provide valuable feedback on how to prepare Black History Month Curricula; showcase a guest post from an ethno-musicologist about African-American music; feature an article on a Black-owned and operated museum in Brooklyn, New York and more!

There will also be fun giveaways and we will introduce a new series entitled, People We Like where we feature individuals whom we admire!

We could not end the month without a discount on Hartlyn Kids products!  We are introducing Half Off Thursdays only for the month of February! You can get 50% off all of our inventory every Thursday, so you can provide a child with the gift of travel for a super low price!

Please also join us on Facebook (www.facebook.com/HartlynKids) and follow us on Twitter (www.twitter.com/HartlynKids). All month long we will be advertising our weekly deals, sharing Black History Month resources and sharing quotes and historical facts.
