The first thing you learn when you are in small business is that financing is a tough thing to get.... but, you can never let that deter you from pursuing your dreams and aspirations.
When Christine and I decided to start our business, we decided to rely on our internal networks for loans to make our dream a reality. From time to time, we enter small business competitions for small (or large) grants to keep Hartlyn Kids afloat and to continue to travel the globe... one book at a time.
One such grant competition is Pea Chic Grants. Pea Chic provides grants for women owned and women focused businesses. The grants are typically small (between $500 to $1,000) and are intended for expenses which may include establishing a web presence, procuring supplies or necessary equipment, marketing expenses, and other areas of business where lack of funding could result in inability to launch effectively. We would use our grant to travel to more book fairs and events!
And happily we made this season's top 20 list but we need your vote to win!
So please vote for us! Visit this page and place your vote for HARTLYN KIDS and tell a friend!... We thank you in advance.
